Data protection policy

Thank you for your interest in our online shop. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.

Access data and hosting

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Each time you visit a website, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which your browser automatically transmits to us.

It contains:

    Browser type/Browser version
    operating system used
    referrer URL
Host name of the accessing computer
    Time of the server request

These data cannot be assigned to specific persons. A combination of this data with other data sources is not made. We reserve the right to check these data subsequently if we become aware of concrete indications of an illegal use.

These access data are evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring error-free operation of the site and improving our services. According to GDPR (German: Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO), this serves to safeguard our primarily legitimate interests in a scope of balancing interests for a correct presentation of our offer. All access data will be deleted no later than seven days after you visiting our site.

Third-party hosting services

As part of processing on our behalf, a third party provider performs the hosting and presentation services for us. This serves to protect our primarily legitimate interests in a scope of balancing interests for a correct presentation of our offer. All data collected based on the use of our website or you give us in the forms that are embedded and provided for this purpose in the online shop as described below are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place in the extent described here.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Data collection and use for sales contract processing and creating a customer account

Our service provider guarantees that all data entries during the order process in our shop are made via encrypted pages (SSL encryption), so that your data is protected during the entry.

You can only access your customer account on our website after entering your personal password. You are strongly advised to keep your access information confidential.

We collect personal data you voluntarily share with us when placing an order, contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail) or creating a customer account. Required information is marked as such, because in these cases we either need the data for processing orders, contacting you or creating a customer account, and you cannot complete the order and/or account opening or contact us without providing us with this information. Which data is collected can be seen from each form you have to fill in. We use the data provided by you in accordance with GDPR (German: Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO) for processing your orders and other requests. After finishing the process of your order or deleting your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the storage periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be accomplished either by contacting us via the contact given below or via a function provided for this purpose in the customer account.

Data transfer

In order to fulfil the terms of GDPR (German: Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO) for the processing of contracts, we pass on your data to the commissioned shipping company, as far as it is necessary for the delivery of your order. Depending on which payment service provider you choose for your order, we pass on the data collected concerning your payment for processing the payment to the particular financial institution and, if applicable, to any payment service provider commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you create an account there. In this case, you have to log in to your payment service provider with your access data during the order process. Then the data protection policy of the respective payment service provider applies.

Data transfer to shipping service providers

Your personal data will be treated absolutely confidentially and will only be passed on to our shipping service provider DHL / Deutsche Post for the purpose of order execution. If you have given us your consent to this during or after your order, we will pass on your email address and phone number to the shipping service provider pursuant to GDPR (German: Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO), so that the latter can contact you before delivery for the purpose of notification or coordination of delivery.

The consent can be revoked at any time by contacting us via the contact given below.
