Sie wird in flachen, runden Platten á 100 Gramm angeboten.
Die Nadelstärke ist individuell, je nachdem, ob man 1- oder 2-fädig oder sogar bis zu 5-fädig strickt.
Das Farbensortiment von Plötulopi beinhaltet 38 Farben.
1-fädig ist sie geeignet zum Stricken von leichten sommerlichen Strickwaren. 2-fädig verstrickt entspricht sie etwa der Lettlopi. 3-fädig verstrickt entspricht sie etwa der Alafosslopi. Und wer es dicker möchte: in 4 – 5-fädig entspricht in etwa Jöklalopi.
